    Default A new challenge for the scales designers....

    I would not mind having a pair of those but i'm certain they cary a heft price :-( i would love a pair in kingswood or bloodwood or African Blackwood or heck theres lots! and that's not even in the combos of woods

    I paid $300 for my current frames, that would be a reasonable price to pay for someone to make them out of wood. The material limitations of wood are a little overwhelming for me to want to make a set though. It's brittle, so you have to beef it up, which increases the weight. Nice artwork, but hardly practical.

    The only issue is with eyeglass frames weight is the key. Unless they are made of balsa they would probably be too heavy to be comfortable.
