    Talking Pocket Razor Pouches

I made some cheap pocket razor pouches for carrying around razors without fear of them opening and causing mischief! Just some old soft leather for one and an old belt for the other. I used two-needle stitching and installed rivets for strength. The rivets are small copper nails and brass washers from Home Depot. Peen them and it is done. If you use an old stiff belt, it can be used as a strop in a pinch. I carry a pet razor around for conversation and to bond with it if it gave me a good shave. Kinda silly but it is part of my hobby/obsession. Robert

Wow, that is pretty extreme. Although the more I think of it, the more I like the idea. The good razors get rewarded almost! lol Any more pics of the pouches maybe not so blurry?

It also works well with "Bring your razor to work day"!

    Default Razor Pouches

Tonight I shopped for a better camera. From all the inputs about razor photography, light seems to be the most difficult thing to control. I tried several spots around the shop. It seems the best light is where the garbage container stays. Those last photos were atop the containter just inside the overhead door with afternoon light coming in from the west. My current camera will soon reside inside that same container! I am certainly enjoying doing things with the razors. I will have a better camera and technique for the forums. Razors are a good way to get a conversation going. Many people remember older family members using them. A neat link with the past for sure. So far no problem with the police. A pouch does buffer weapon demeanor a razor imparts. It also keeps it safe and dry in the pocket. I only have a couple of them worthy to carry around. As I audition the rotation there will probably be more. Those 5 and 7 day roll packs look desirable. If stopped by the police, "collector" status could be invoked then...however some cops would just add up the number of razors for the same number of citations! I suppose. Why is Australia so controlled? We here in the US may be in for the same treatment.
