    Lightbulb Scale Washers from Jeans

A source of free scale pin washers from old jeans. Drill out the rivet and pry/punch the washer off. It is a neat washer with the hole insert stamped in. I shall show them on my next set of fabricated scales. Robert

    Talking Levi Knock-off

This source is Double Knot Brand. I wear cheap jeans. Check out Levi's for better quality washers. The rivets must be center-punched before drilling them out; otherwise, the bit will wander and mess up a masterpiece! (Maestropiece)

Historically they are copper, however, some are a cheaper metal with a copper patina/wash.
