    Default Sources for scales

I am looking for some sources for scale material. I would love to find some "pen turning" that would work.

    Will this work?

Anyone know were I could get something like this with patterns? Something like the stuff used for lathing pens?

Yes to the first link those will work and they are cheap enough that you can experiment like crazy, the 6 in length will be fine for everything except the longest of razors...

Try Googling 6 inch acrylic/micarta pen blanks I used to have a link but I can't find it right now...
Please post the link if you find it again....

Alright, ordered. What would you recommend as pins for these scales? Well, I should say the domed washers. I guess I will use aluminum pins and brass bushings. So what would I use for these washers?

Yes I have read about buying threaded pins and making solid washers with some fancy tools. ;-)
Anything a little more mail order?

This is a perfect use of the Wiki as there are entries in there from I know Alex and myself that already have multiple links in there for everything you might need whether you go adjustable or with solid rod...
