Aluminum Scales
I picked these up at an antique store the other day. I haven't completely finished cleaning them up yet. Do you think I should use some kind of liner to give them some thickness or use them as is. They're pretty thin. I haven't decided which blade to put in them yet.

Since they were designed that way, I agree, use them as is.
Some really dig aluminum scaled razors and they're fairly rare. People who primarily collect intact razors for their scales seem to really go for aluminum scaled razors.

They came with a Wade & Butcher wedge that was very crudely re-pinned. I'm sure that I'll be able to find something that fits them well. I'll have to construct a wedge for them. The back sides of the scales are concave. Should be interesting.

I like them better on the stylish razor. The Rogers is begging for a horn handle

I like it better on the W&B with the worked spine as well - it's equally elegant - they match somehow.
