    Default J. Allen in Progress

    I thought I would post this because this blade is particularly interesting because when i picked it up at the local antique store I didn't notice that it looks like someone put it through some kind of electric sharpening device as you can see in the pic below. The lower part of the blade is darker. Once I started grinding away at it you could tell the grind was all messed up and dimpled.

    Here is the side I haven't touched yet:



    Here is te other side after 'regrinding' with 120 grit. This thing will be an awesome shaver soon enough once I take it up to 2000 grit and make some scales for it.
