Default Second set of scales, new pins

OK, I went ahead and changed the scales on my Wapia. This time I went to full finish. Took my time.
Still choosing my least favorite colors from the sample pack I have.
Made the spacer wedge from a light switch plate. Super glued an pinned.

Still haven't bothered to take out the light box and do a proper shoot. At least this time I used the better camera.

Let me know what you think!

Forget the light box. Your pictures are great! I haven't heard of using super glue on the spacers before. Is this typical?

    Thanks!

I am using plexiglass. I have the complete list of what I used here.

This time I made my own wedge and used nylon washers as blade spacers. I like them so far.

Well, I am almost sure I heard it here somewhere. lol
You have to work fast, but the results are flawless. You can't tell that there is a join outside of the colors.
I don't think you really even need the end pin when joining plastic this way.. I just need the practice.

Ron, looks like good work! One thing I noticed is that the end pin looks like it came out at different spots (not symmetrical) on the front and back sides. If this is the case, how did you go about drilling? Maybe there is something you could do to get a 'straighter' looking pin- hard to 'advise' without knowing what happened.

Good catch. The photo makes it look worse. Even though it is maybe a little off. A drill press would fix it. ;-)
