Thread: Restore Help

Hey,

Working on this current razor, and it seems to have a lump/ridge just below the hollow ground razor wording,

it just seems quite thicker there, then gets thinner on the edge, i'm wondering if anyone else has seen that before, i run my finger over it and i 'think' i can feel it dip off afterwards, but it's kinda hard to tell

You don't mean like this do you (it's a bit hard to tell from your pic):-



There are other variations where two different diameters of grinding wheel were used - a larger diameter above the belly and a smaller diameter wheel below the belly.

Judging by your pic, it is indeed a double hollow ground blade. This is normal.

Phew, cheers guys, i thought it could have some weird rust bubble underneath or something,
