    Lightbulb Razor Carry Pouches

    If I have a razor with me I can hone or polish it anywhere I am. These simple pouches are made from scrap leather. One is from an old belt bought at a thrift store. Sewing leather ain't that difficult. Keep needles sharp and use a piece of thick leather as a palm for pushing through layers. Paraffin on the thread also helps.

    While my wife shops I stay out in car to hone or polish a razor or two. It passes the time and I get some maintenance done. If I had a larger vehicle I would probably do some stropping also. Security might check up on me if I did that! I suppose I could hook the strop to a door and stand outside the vehicle and strop away...

    The pouches allow safe carry at all times. With Christmas Shopping 2008 here now, I get a lot done. Merry Christmas again, Robert

    Great way to make use of your time! Some guys here were chatting about using a toothbrush tube to send str8s in. Maybe that is a way for you to carry more around with you in case it turns into an all day event.

    Robert - I'm shocked! While my wife shops I slip into the nearest public house. I don't even know what time it is when she eventually finds me!
