custom blade blanks

Does anyone cut custom high carbon steel blanks for a razor. I mean just the blanks to grind yourself.

Never heard of it, but you might be able to convince someone to do it. It'd have to be worth the money though. How much you got for me? lol

i have been talking to a shop about getting a few blanks lazer cut for me but thats cause i have something planned

guess you would need
steel type
hardened or not
part ground or not
pin hole drilled ?
lots to think about when doing something like this
also what size razor

My uncle works for a company that has a water jet and they routinely make knife blanks. They could probably cut razor blanks also. They might be able to source the raw stock also. Sen dme a pm and I will pass along the contact info.

they are working on cutting some purple heart scales for me currently.

In any thread click the user's name (above his Avatar) and it'll bring up a drop down menu- select 'send private message...'.
