Thread: Toowoomba Razor #2

Spent Christmas in Toowoomba with the family and browsed the junk shops. Picked up three razors for restoration practice.

Second is a Royal Crown Razor 7/8 - looks like a full holoow ground to me.

This looks to be in reasonable condition, but the blade tapers from 13/16 at the heel to just over 7/8 at the point. Good honing practice?

Made in Germany. It should hone up well and make a good shaver. Later you might want to even out the ≈1/16" difference (or not), or even get into "full" restoration.

Nice looking razor.
