I just fnished shaping some cocobolo scales for a greaves razor I found locally - the razor is with floppyshoes for honing.

Can anyone provide some step -by -step directions for how to do a CA finish? I have oiled the scales wth boiled linseed oil to get rid of those pesky end grain spots on cocobolo.

I have used a CA /Linseed finish on the lathe for pens etc, but that relies on the spinning of the lathe etc.

tips would be appreciated.
