    I must be missing something here, but rubber cement is the easiest thing there is to use, even a week later you just slide the two halves apart....
    Can't find the line in between the scales use a piece of tinfoil in between great idea one of the members here came up with, I have never needed to use it since I heard it, but the next set of Ebony scales I am going to try it...

    Yup, 400 degrees and most epoxies will yield.

    I think it's even lower that that especially for the hardware store/ two part tube types. A pva / modified pva will slip long before things get hot enough to scorch wood, horn, stuff like that

    the glue with the amount i use wont make it through a warm beltsanding
