Thanked: 3Sources for G10 & Micarta
I have found a few sources for paper, linen, and canvas micarta, but I'm really having trouble finding sources for solid 1/8" G10. I've got a couple, but there's gotta be more, and I'm really looking for a variety of colors if possible.
If anyone can steer me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

You might try www.knifekits.com They have several colors available for G10 (black/blue, black/green, black/red) and a whole bunch of different colors and patterns of micarta, including "designer" micarta.
I think more people opt for Micarta because the dust is nasty (always wear a respirator while sanding or grinding), but not as nasty as G10.
I'm not affiliated with the site, but have ordered from them many times without any problems.

Micarta Scales
Oso, I am planning to do business with the site you posted. I have used paper micarta for dishwasher-proof scales for kitchen knives. It worked as promised. Linen and canvas will do for straight razor scales. I am using wooden shade shutter slats with good results. They are easy to fashion with a pocket knife. Robert
