    Default Supplies?

I'm thinking about turning some exotic wood samples that I have had for awhile into some new scales, but have no idea what and where to get the material for the pins, spacers etc. I will probably use a pair of Dovo scales as a template to cut out the rough handles, but what type and size rod should I purchase for the pins. Also, how about the washers and spacers? Is there a one shop place to go on line where I can get everything I need? I would appreciate any help in establishing a list of supplies/materials etc. Oh yeah, my wood blanks are 1/8 inch thick. Will they suffice?

Try Microfasteners for washers (size #0) and the hardware store for some 1/16 inch brass rod.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
