    Default Tumbler? Hand sand? Both?

I picked up this W&B not too long ago. I almost looks like it was taken to a wire wheel or something. Can I get rid of the scratches without too much damage to the etching? Would a tumble in a tumbler do the trick, or does it need hand sanding too? I'm not looking for a mirror finish necessarily, I just don't want the scratches....

Advice? (besides learning to take better pics...)

    In my "expert" tumbler opinion
You might have a winner there....
If it were mine I would do some light sanding at 400-600 grit then toss it in with the walnut media for a week....

    Wow that was fast!

Thanks for the advice. That's about what I was thinking, so at least all the reading I've been doing here is sinking in....
