    Default Custom Bolsters

Can anybody manage this? I want to get a razor rescaled and have some snazzy bolsters to adorn it.

There was a post about a guy in Germany that does this.

In theory one could make custom bolsters quite easily with some thick foil, a steady hand and a small blade. I'd offer to give it a shot but I'm swamped.

Maybe ask a jeweler to do the metal work. They are used to working on such a small scale on a daily basis. Have someone else make the scales. I would love to have some cracked ice scales with my initials cut out or done enamel work.

    laser cut thick brass foil
For inlay work you could even laser engrave a piece of wood/acrylic and then use some rub and buff gold leaf.
