    Default Listing to the left

When I test fitted my scales, the blade centered nicely. Now that I have applied umpteen layers of CA, and got the finish where I want it, the blade no longer centers. When you hold the wedge close to you, the blade is a little to the left.

I tried reaming out all of the holes in the scales, but this has not really helped much. I am working with an awfully thin wedge (trying for an authentic restore, the original wedge was really narrow too). I am probly out maybe 1/32nd, maybe less.

Anyone have any tips. Just spent an hour screwing with it. Need to take a break before I break it out of frustration.

Put a washer in at the tang pivot on the side away from the side it is listing towards. i.e-if the blade is close to the left side, put the washer in on the right side.

It is not only the pins but how the tang presses against the inside of the scales that controls centering. Try sanding off some of the ca back by the pins to allow the end of the razor to swing over. You can recoat with a thin layer of ca if you sand through.
