    Default Second Attempt at Refurbishing

This is a GEBR Lang solingen razor i bought at a yard sale for $25. The scales were warped plastic and there was some pitting on the blade near the edge. I bought this razor back when I thought I knew about restoring and tried to call it shave ready when there wasn't even a bevel! I have learned a lot since then and tried a second time. THere are still some pits, but I did not do a lot of heavy sanding because I wanted to preserve the etching. THe scales are Zebrawoood from blanks provided by Floppy Shoes. I put a walnut stain/urethane combo from Minwax then came back with Minwax urethane. Take a look and offer comments. I honed it with my norton and it delievers a gret shave. I am still waiting on my CHinese 12K I ordered so if it arrives before it sells I will hone further. But it shaves smooth as it is. Take a look and let me know the thoughts. I am always looking to improve.
