Corby type rivets?
Can anyone tell mewhere I can find corby type rivets or acorn nut screws that will work as pins for razors? Thanks in advance!!

Are you looking for online or locally? I’ve heard microfasteners.com is a pretty good place to find re-pinning hardware….

Thanked: 182i have never seen corbys that has a smaller then 1/8 inch hole needed
but hey maybe out there some place some one makes them with 2-56 screws
just thought about this tho maybe piercing bars like you pick the gauge and jsut use the little ball end screw deals

you just have to drill for them if there an older blank

I have a mini metal lathe on my wish list; if/when I get one, I've already thought that one of the first projects I'd want to complete is turning and threading small corby rivets the size of which would actually befit a razor. Even the smallest corby rivets IMO are too big in scale for complimenting traditional sized razor scales. Bummer on that.

That would be a really excellent idea Chris!
You'll get lots of business selling those
The barrel rivets that are shown are a great example but I personally think they are to big looking on some of the designs and scale widths and would love to see smaller sized ones all the way down to 0-80 just like 'Buddel' uses. At least it'll give an option as what size to use on what scale width or design.
And if you're at it please make us those old style domed like washers...
