My local Ace hardware has stainless 0-80 1/2" slotted head screws with nuts and washers and a Sutherlands (NKC) has stainless 0-80 1/2" tiny philips head screws. They go for about 30 cents each.

Hey guys, does anyone know the (rough) size in mm of these 0-80 screws? My hardware store sells itty-bitty screws, washers and nuts, but I'm not sure just what size is best (for the inevitable coming of the rescaling bug).

    Jim,

    took out my digital caliper.

The 0-80 screws head diameter = 2.30mm. The screws head height = 1.10mm

I always order the longer ones and they are close to 20mm long.

The nut size diameter = 2.40mm and the height = 1.25mm

    Thanks Max!
Sorry to ask, but what about the shaft? Roughly 2mm, I'm guessing from the head size.
