Thanked: 156Seraphim,
Can you tell us how the damage happened so we don't repeat the...erm...disaster?

That does suck the big one. Nice photography, though. (Mom told me to always find something positive to say )

Keep in mind I am in no way comparing my skills (or rather lack thereof) to yours...
But my first attempt at restoring a Dubl Duck was chronicled here: http://straightrazorpalace.com/works...-part-1-a.html
Two good things came out of my "tragedy":
1.) I was able to get the remains to somebody who could use the parts
2.) While I couldn't find the chip, al least it wasn't embedded in me!Last edited by gatorfan; 03-08-2009 at 04:52 PM. Reason: spellcheck

Thanked: 735Saved!
OK, so I used the dremel, and buffed that little split right out of the blade.
Good as new!
That Maas really is good stuff!

Ouch! I haven't tried buffing yet. This makes me a little leary. Is there a more suitable surface than a counter top? And by the way, LameEagle: Is that Smilin' Jack on your avatar?
