    Thanks guys

A store called hobby town has various widths of brass

Hobby shop. couple bucks for 3/16, 2 rods 3 feet each. same for 3 feet of 3/32. I'm probably set for life.
I thought 1/16 was the only one needed?

Can someone tell me what selection of widths would be needed?

    Thanks

Now its gets a little...just a little tricky. 1/16 would be the way to go, but measuring the pivot is your best shot. I initially stated 3/16. I was incorrect. The best bet is to visit your hobby shop and show them what you want to do. You will get tons of help.

    Default This pivot is 1/16"

I like oversized scales. I have grabbed one too many blades that had inadequate protection. Not artisan quality, but loads of enjoyment.

1/16 is "standard" and all I've had occassion to use so far but some people have mentioned that you run into scales where the hole is worn larger or they drilled them larger to clean them up. ...and I was so surprised that it was only a couple of bucks that I grabbed a rod of 3/32 too.
