Default Where to find all the 3m W/D grits?

I went to AutoZone, and all the other auto stores and a couple tool shops in town. They have maybe 4 or 5 grits avail. Nothing lower than 220, then 400,600,1000,2000. And you have to buy a pkg of #4 at about $4.49ea. The higher grits only come in small sheet sizes, the lower grits ie 220,400 come in large size sheets. Does anyone know of an on line source that has all the grits in single sheet avail?

If you just need a single sheet of each, PM me and I can sell some to you. It's not 3M brand but is wet dry and similar quality. I've got pretty much all grits up to 3000.

    Actually, I've only got it down to 180. Then I've got 240, 320, 400, 500, 600,
    800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000, 2500, and 3000.

You might also try Woodworking Plans & Tools | Fine Woodworking Project & Supplies at Woodcraft. They sell Norton wet/dry sandpaper in regularly sized sheets for about $5 for a pack of 5 sheets. I had the same problem as you (live in a pretty remote place=no hardware stores). I found what I needed there.

    Default Sandpaper in Santa Rosa

    Mark,

Check out Harbor Freight Tools at 930 Piner in Santa Rosa - they usually have a good selection of sandpaper.
Then there is always Woodcraft at 3589 Industrial Dr.
While there you can always dig through their selection of hardwoods.
I'll bet you will find a piece you can't live without...

I stopped by harborfreight today. They are having their "Dollar Days" sale right now. I picked up some packs of sandpape for $1 each

    Default former resident...

    Mark,

I was in the area for quite a spell, but I've moved on. Always loved the wine country...

    hmm....

I live in the middle of nowhere, so $5 a pack ain't too bad. It beats a 3+ hour round trip to the nearest supplier. Maybe I should have found you before I went shopping .
