I made a mistake today on a razor I was going to leave the original scales on. I tried to sand out some light scratches on plastic scales with 2000 grit and it just took all the shine out of them. I ended up putting a set of maple scales I had on it because I wanted the person to get a nice razor, but I would like to know a good way to restore the luster to it, because the scales are still un-warped and in good shape, they just need to shine. I was also wanting to knoe a good source for acrylic sheet with pre-formed designs. I bought my first faux tortoise shell from Texas knife supply and they have a small selection and they do not return my emails. Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.
