    Default compound combos for shine

    after you guys have sanded to the point of "thats as good as its gonna get" what do you use aside form maas as compound agents for shine/buff?

    I use automotive rubbing compound followed by polishing compound.It's cheap and available everywhere.Wal-mart etc.

    This is the progression I use after the sandpaper grit ranges. I don't usually use sandpaper, it's too slow.

    1. Black Emery (stop here for a well blended satin finish)
    2. Stainless Compound
    3. White Rouge
    4. Green Rouge

    5. Degrease (I use acetone)

    6. Rolite, flitz, maas etc. (for the sealer)
