Default C-MON Wedge how far to go?

    Hello All....

The last couple of days I has been working on a CMON that I got from ebay (below some before and after pics)

My question is how far to go in order the get it near mirror finish without taking the risk of killing the blade? or should I just get it shiny and no more than that?

Should I remove all the pitting or just the stains and learn to live with a little bit of pitting? (I have other with pitting with great shaving results)

    Any feedback will be appreciated

If it were me, and I were going to use it in my daily rotation I wouldn't worry about the pitting.. the blade looks fine to me, I'd spend my time shaving with it!

+1 Leave it be and enjoy the shaves. If you want to sand a blade get a junker to play with.
