    Default Display Stands

Hey guys, a member asked about the stands I have my razors in in the pictures I take, and so I thought I'd post some pictures to show the basic idea.
I make these out of some stainless 1.6mm wire I bought at the hardware store...I got like 15 meters for about 5 bucks, so it's pretty cheap.

I basically just cut off a piece and bend it to the shape in my head--I fit them to big and small razors. The big ones have wider bases, of course, to handle the blade balance. The smaller ones a more tippy, but they're ok. The ones without a blade holder are, of course, for razors with tight hinge pins.

I use aquarium tubing on the arms to protect the razors.

They're not much, but they do the job and give me something to do with my hands in the evenings when I'm not playing with my razors.

Thanks for posting these. I think that they allow you to show your razors well. Good idea.

I'm glad you like them...honestly, they're just tinkering, but my wife likes to keep my razors on display in the living room when they're not in use. I figure, why not let people see them?

    Looks good Jim.

I have a brush stand that I made out of a wire hanger, works great. My wife gives it a pathetic look sometimes, but the beauty is in the simplicity wouldn't you say?
