Thanked: 171Tape seems brilliant, but how do you tape it and still work at the grind? Tape carefully and very very close to the edge only? I would think you're still going to end up with a line in the grind where the tape was? Partly looking polished up, partly not. Wouldn't you?
I think Bill Ellis' little magentic razor holder idea is great for this, although I haven't tried it myself. Forgive me if I'm misremembering and it's not actually Bill Ellis' design.

Thanked: 156Just tape the bevel. It gets polished through diff. means anyway.
I use bill's razor holder thing.
