Haven't decided yet weather I am going to put regular pins or leave the micro fasteners. But I thought I'd share this little project.

what material did you use for the scales?

I think the pins do look nicer than the micro-fasteners did.
So, do ya flip 'er open like Capt Kirk used to do with his communicator?
