Thread: Acrylic Scales

Hey Guys,
I'm new to the straight razor scene and would apreciate some advice from you guys in the workshop forum. My first razor came from eBay and arived with the scales broken, so i have had an attempt at making my own using acrylic. I'm pretty happy with them, but i wondered if you guys with experience can give me any feedback. Are there any problems with using acrylic that I'm not aware of,or are there any major design flaws with the shape that haven't occured to me? I'll attatch a couple of photos.
The blade was brought back to life by my mate onimaru55 (g'day Oz).
