Here's a short thread with some info. http://straightrazorpalace.com/works...ace-epoxy.html
If you cant use the search here for whatever reason, you can often find things through a search engine ( i googled it) I tapped in "straight razor place +ren +wax" & it came up. HTH

I can tell you my routine Victor take it for what it's worth...

When I finish a set of scales I wait until they're are TOTALLY dry then I put on a coat of Renwax.... I then pin them, hone the razor, strop the razor, test shave, re-strop, etc: etc: and after I get done with all that, I re-wax them before sending them home....

    Sooooooooooo 2 coats...

    Thank you Glen...

Can I use that Wax over any type of Scales? or where should I NOT use it?

Three coats is said by the manufacturer to make things "moisture proof."

I think Glen is right - part of the advertising blurb by the maker goes:

"...Renaissance wax is truly universal in application and is used to protect and visually enhance every type of surface, from paper to stone, both inside the building and outside to guard against weathering. The wax protects a huge range of famous bronze statues and monuments in city streets and parks in the UK and other countries...."

    Regards,
    Neil
