Thread: In Indonesia with a messed up Dovo

Gentlemen,

Thanks for your advice before, I really appreciate it. Now I find myself in a frustrating position. I just spent $200 on a Dovo Astrale, and I have been super super careful with it, always putting it in the case, being extra careful stropping it, etc. But one day, when I was stropping before a shave, I noticed that it was peeling tiny leather noodles off the strop! On closer inspection, I found that the blade's edge had a couple of tiny nicks in it. Thank God I didn't use that on my face!! I don't know if perhaps one of my roommates dropped it or what, but it's totally unusable for me now.

Also, I'm in indonesia, so I don't have many sharpening options that i'm aware of. None of my indonesian friends have any idea.

Any suggestions? I'd be willing to ship it to one of you guys if I must, it was a big investment for me!
