Newb restoring a duck
I picked up a Dubl Duck off the bay and decided to try my luck at restoration. The blade had a small chip and some pitting, I removed the chip and most of the pitting. The hand sanding was actually enjoyable and relaxing to do.
I got anxious to be done when I started thinking about getting it honed and actually shaving with itbut aside from the rushed and hurried final steps, I think it turned out decent enough to get honed, what do you guys think ? Is it worthy of getting honed or is there more work to be done?
Any comments are appreciated as I hope to do this again.
