joseph elliot restore
Joseph Elliot I saw on ebay and had to have. The scales were horn, but completely shot, so they had to go. Ill add some Red Morrell burl scales soon.
The blade reads "Joseph Elliot's Celebrated Razor", you can see where their double C logo was, but it didnt stamp properly so its barely there. The blade has a tiny crown with VR under it and reads "Universally Approved. Best Silver Steel". 7/8 at the toe, 6/8 at the heel.
I didnt want to get rid of all the pitting and make it look as new, because I think this guy has a fair bit of character with the crazy points at the end of the spine, and double thumb notch. But I did need to clean him up a fair bit.

I only got a dremel AFTER i'd finished the sanding on it too
cant wait to get those scales finished, sharpen her up and get a'shaving!
