    Default WWII Henckels progress- before/after

    Well,
    Lots of hand sanding and three band aids (two with gauze . . . . .now I know why dremmels are desired), later.

    Sorry if the pics are in bad light as this is just my first attempt. Awaiting scales from Classic Shaving, then I get to attempt to a rolling X bevel & hone on the smile.

    Nice job on a good-looking blade.Cut-proof gloves are another option.I got some made from woven coated stainless steel wire.

    Great work, you may want to invest in some kevlar gloves, It makes it easy on the fingertips when you are working along the edge.

    Thanks all,

    It is definitely not in the Max, Glenn, or others who show brilliant mirror finishes for that matter catagory. There are still some scratches that were left behind - probably by the initial 220 grit that I did not get out. However, I am please with it as a first attempt.

    I put it to the Coti this evening, got a bevel, honed, and the hairs are popping off the arm. Can't wait for the scales to arrive so that i can strop it and shave.
