Lots of hand sanding and three band aids (two with gauze . . . . .now I know why dremmels are desired), later.

Sorry if the pics are in bad light as this is just my first attempt. Awaiting scales from Classic Shaving, then I get to attempt to a rolling X bevel & hone on the smile.
