Thanked: 202Sorry important bit is I live in UK. Yes we have Wall Mart but what I saw so far came with just cheap and cheerfull. Yes we have car workshops (5 in my area) they use similar rubish and when I asked about the grit the finish on 800. Can get something from Axminster byt the peice is ridiculous. I have tried abrasives suppliers but again cheap and cheerfull. England, England where is your industrial history and fine ingeneering pride?

You should be able to find something....a lot of 3M abrasive products are manufactured in England. You might try contacting a woodworking/hardware wholesaler....not a consumer one, mind you, but a source for buisinesses who go through great volumes of the stuff. You might have you purchase 500 sheets or so, but it'll cost less per piece than otherwise, and I bet you could rebundle and sell it....
Don't know if they do anything internationally, but an example would be a company like Baer.

Anywhere that re-sprays cars might help you out with a few sheets
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 202As I wrote before, those car repairing respraying workshops where I asked only go up to 800. I know sounds strange but that is what they told me.

Thanked: 171I don't know what you guys have for stores that are similar in the UK, but I just buy mine at autozone or advanced auto for around a buck a sheet. Any auto parts store should carry high grit paper. It's used for wetsanding clearcoats and stuff.
Home depot also sells w/d paper, but they don't have grits much higher than 600 IIRC.

Thanked: 9I think thats the exact same stuff I bought on ebay. I love the sandpaper, it outlives the 150 Grit Norton I use. I'd recommend it, I've used it to sand up 2 razors now with only good things to say!

Thanked: 6I just bought a 10-pack from the seller, all in 800+ grits because I can get the others at my local hardware store. I'll see how it goes.
