It it worth refinishing?
Hello everybody I'm completely new to the art of straight razor shaving and its something I've always wanted to do. I currently use a disposable straight and hope to upgrade to the real deal very soon.
A few years back a friend purchased an old straight for me from a garage sale and I was wondering if anybody had any input on the brand and if it is worth refinishing.
the side reads Jas. T. Scott Hand forged and the number 170, the back side says Germany.
It looks to be in decent shape and I will have pics up as soon as I find out where my fiance put my camera.
Thanks again in advance for any input.

Any razor can, for the most part be brought back.
They will not be show stoppers but they can for the most part be brought back.
The name is not the thing, the experience is the thing.

This is a very good candidate for restoration.
