Thanked: 462 sets of scales for free
Well it seems to get anywhere in the razor biz you have to make a name for yourself. Well I can't hone yet, I only got one stone. I can restore razors ok but I dont want the added presure of smoking someones razor yet (note the word I use lol). So that brings me to this. I have had some ok luck making scales and getting them looking ok. That brings me to this. I have some rather ok wood that I can make for scales. I got a rough cut for most of them. So whats the deal. Pretty simple. You need to have a razor that needs a set of scales. If you have on with the orginals that would be the best. Im not much of a freehand guy. I tried on a few times, im ok. So the next things is, I can do a bit of clean up but i will not touch a blade. That leads me to the next thing, in life you dont normally get choices, well today you do. I only have a few, but I do. Here goes it. Also i would like to add I would make more but I only have enough washers for 2 sets. If anyone out here feels froggy and can donated them to me I will extend this offer out.
The first is a walnut I have shaped from a da blade. This one wont be changed much as its sanded and cut already, and you can either have a tang or tung oil finish, cant remeber which one I have on hand or a satin finish, that one takes a bit longer. I put 10 coats on it.
ok next up
Again same rules as before.
Next is a rather next piece of cherry if i recall right
ok for the finish I'm thinking satin but if you want the oil then so be it
ok next up is birdseye maple if i recall.
These have a rough cut also about the size of a da scale. So I have a bit it work with. Finish on these will be a satin. Oil would be a waste honestly.
ok one more thing you must pay all shipping to and from. Also with this you must leave an honest feedback with what you think of the work. I'm trying ot get better at this. I got 6 and half years lol, long story. Best of luck I will only take the first 2 and you must also tell me what razor blade these will be put on. If you dont do this then no dice. Good luck guys.

W&B Celebrated Anglo Saxon Razor...I think it's a 4/8 or 5/8.
I prematurely popped the scales off of it before having what I needed to try making a set. I still have them though, and could send them with the blade.
