    Default repair cracks in celluloid?

    Greetings all,

I have a razor thats blade is loose, found threads on tightening and replacing the pin, but there are also cracks (hairpin) around the tang pin area. My question is this what can you use to repair (fill in) these cracks (nail polish remover, crazy glue, some sort of resin/epoxy) so there is less chance of making the cracks worse when I go to tighten the pin? Sorry if this question has been asked before in another thread but I was unable to locate it. Also if the scales cannot be repaired what is the normal charge on a re-scale for a 5/8 razor?

You can use some thin CA, let it dry and nicely sand it down.
