    Smile rusty otto fixed

Rusty Otto is fixed. I removed and replaced cell red scales with red clear plastic ones. Rehoned blade, shaved with it and my baby Otto is back. Cell red scales caused the rusting, also known as cell-rot, due to some kind of chemical reaction or deterioration of the scales. I am no chemist, but could see the results, rust on the blade. Juan.

    Smile camera!

I bewarely know how to turn on the computer, you are asking the impossible. But for real you saved my Otto. Your post got me looking for the cure and/or answer. I have another friend with two same razors and the same problem. So you saved three wonderfull Otto Busch razors. I am glad you posted the question. Thank you very much, I have many razors, but each one is special to me. Juan.

Juan, get yourself one of those weird little computer kiddies!
    They work wonders sometimes.

Glad to hear that the case is solved.
I'd still be curious how it keeps though.
Please report back in a couple of weeks and let us know if that was the solution.
