    Yup, superglue, although superglue is a registered brand name, the stuff in the bottle is cyanoacrylate. Fills in grain and leaves a hard plastic like finish over the wood but takes quite a few coats to build up the film. I have had mixed results with it and the fumes are horrable so I dont use it other than as a bonding agent but others have very good results from it.

    i reckon french polish for wood. every time.
