picked up these 2 off the ebay last month finally got the camera charged and took some shots. top is a henckels and the lower is a joseph rogers & sons.
What you guys think worth sending out for restore or just cut the loss and spend the cash on something else.

Sending out to have what done to them? There is alot of work there for someone to do. If you do the work as a learning experience I would say go for it as they can be saved as users, not much else.

I would not sink much $$ into the Henkles, the Joseph has some edge issues but doesn't look to bad. Potential for good there.

I would say, they are worth restoring if you want to do the work yourself as a learning experience.

However, by the time those blades are reshaped and honed, there won't be much left, and they probably won't be worth having them rescaled by one of our pros.
