    Default Bismarck Rust

So I went out to check the mail and I got a razor a few days faster than I thought I would. It's a tortoise handled Bismarck that I picked up for about 13 bucks. Theres a little rust on the spine and the face of the blade, tough nothing on the cutting edge. What should I use to bust rust on it? Should I stay away from anything too abrasive like sandpaper and just stick to polishes or should I send it off to have it done by someone that's restored straights before?

If you're not sure, send it out would be my advice. Without more information, and a picture, it's difficult to say.

MAAS works well. Keep it off the labeling as it will take that off as well.

    Nice price for the Bismark!

I'm planning on having a few pics up soon, probably Friday evening. The scales are good and I like the faux tortoise, just gotta get that blade cleaned up. I would love to do it myself, but I don't know where to begin with it. Do you guys have any recommendations on who to send it to?
