Thread: Another use for tape

My phone had died on me and it was only after we bought a new expensive blackberry for my wife so I could use her phone that I found the problem. The sim card wasn't being pushed all the way home. My wife thought I was crazy when I said I can fix that and pulled out my tool box. A few layers of tape cut into small rectangles to make a shim and the problem is solved. Now I get to keep using my old phone instead of having to learn a new one. I'm so happy right now.
Is there anything that can't be fixed with the right amount of tape?

yeah, when you've got a piece of really sticky tape you want to use, but then static or wind or whatever makes the tape fold and stick to itself. Adding more tape NEVER helps this, and it's damn irritating.
