Are there any tricks to repinning horn scales? What should I be prepared for and what to be careful of? Any help is appreciated.

I would also always recommend following the Wiki links to the original threads to read all the asked and answered questions on all the threads..
Alex/Philadeplh also has a video in there to complement this step by step guide...
In the webcast is another video of me doing some pin tightening...

The only difference with horn is its more fragile so one tap too hard or too many and it can be toast. If its your first I wouldn't start with horn.
