Default Finally finished. Genco Forge Mark

So a few of you may remember a few months ago my thread of restoring a 6/8th Genco Forge Mark razor that somehow ended up with a big chip. Link

I finally got around to honing her up after the miraculous recovery, and dang. Shaves just like every other Genco I've owned, which is to say _very_ close and super comfortable. Also, there's a little something extra, probably related to the major process related to the previously mentioned almost-disaster.

This is the most work I've yet put into a restoration. The blade, while not quite glass smooth, polished up quite well. This was an encouraging project for me to put in a little more time on razors that I feel could use a little more gloss.

I ended up leaving the tail of the tang fairly unpolished, as I felt it matched the hammered portion better than to polish it up like the blade.

Here's some pics of the finished, shave-tested wonderfulness.
