    Default help cant find info anywhere

    I need to find a product thats safe and pretty universal that can be used to clean and polish scales. I have looked everywhere here and need to start a few restorations these will b my first all help appreciated thanks-john

    MAAS or Flitz will work on most all razors from the steel to the scales..

    Be careful using any polish on Natural scales ie: Ivory, Bone, Hone, Wood, Shell.. these are a bit different and if you rush into a restore you might very well wreck the razor


    Read the sticky in red at the top of this Sub-Forum just a little info tucked in there about this stuff

    Where can I get maas or flitz? I only found blue magic yesterday for the blade

    Our local Ace Hardware carries Maas. Not sure where you are, but it may be worth checking if you have one nearby.

    Blue Magic is what I use in the shop, and it works just fine on the scales too, same as MAAS and Flitz

    personally I use mothers for all my scales and blades, it gives really nice shine to horn
