Default Fixing warped Horn Scales (Undream's Edition)

I know this has probably been covered before, and I know it is also in the wiki, but, the one in the wiki requires some crazy stuff including a boiling water pot and half an hour of time...

Heres my "5 minutes to straighter scales" technique, partly from some help in chat from a few friends ... I think it was Kevint?

Who knows, this exact method is probably already somewhere in the forums. I'm too lazy to check right now. Regurgitating info is never bad though, right? plus, I have pictures. Pictures are good.

    1) Find yourself some warped horn scales. Thats easy!

    2) You're gonna need a paint stirer and a couple little C-clamps. If any of you razor restorers don't have little baby C-clamps, shame on you. They rox0rs your sox0rs.

    3) Find your wife's Hair Dryer, and pump that baby to HIGH. Give it 3 minutes...ehh... maybe 5 minutes, with it held about 1" away from the horn, gently going back and forth along the length.

    4) After its pretty freeking hot, Quickly remove the C-clamps, and immediately douse the entire scale in COLD water.

    5) Wha-La! I only did this set for about 3 minutes, but, it was straight enough for my particular scale set.

    Hope u enjoyed.
